If you ask deer hunters if they wear fall protection the usually say "no". If you ask them why, they say its too cumbersome or not comfortable. But if ask them to be honest about it, they usually say "I don't want to hang there".
It's a big problem in the woods because they will hang there till someone finds them, and most of the time not very many people know where they are at. We've heard stories of people falling out of trees or hanging in fall protection. With todays technology that is unacceptable.
